T40-Series Icing Rate Sensors

 
The T40 series of Icing Rate Sensors is developed and designed to
  indicate the percents of the whole spectra of atmospheric ice.

Historically it has been impossible to
indicate Clear-Ice using optical metrology.
Due to T40 unique design this is now
possible with HoloOptics Icing Rate Sensor.

Extreme and aggressive weather is no issue for the
T40 series. The sensor has a solid body built in
stainless steel, developed and designed for worst
possible environments.


T40 series is designed for mounting on weather
stations, ships, towers, aircrafts and wind power
stations etc.

  T40 is delivered with an internally controlled probe
  heating. The probe de-ice system will enable T40
  to control or to be in cooperation of an external de-heating or safety
  system. The probe de-ice system guarantees that T40 is prepared for the
  next indication.

  The probe heating is tuned on and off with
  programmable time delay.

  An internal temp sensor turns off the probe heating if temperature is
  above +10°C. This function may be override externally for testing etc.

  The sensor is also programmable to give an warning signal if the icing is
  above a specified level.

  A health test makes it possible to check the performance of the sensor.
  The sensor is working even if the health test fails, but with reduced
  performance. If the test fails we recommend a service visit
  within 3 mounts.

  
Data can be stored on all common memories. Connect T40
  to a network, computer or a data-logger and T40 will start transfer
  data.

  A status signal checks the system.

  A quick connector makes the installation easy.

  T40 are engineered, designed, and manufactured using the latest
  equipment for accurate placement and alignment of the optics.
  Throughout the manufacturing process, rigid quality control standards
  are given to all elements of the Indicator, from materials to
  measuring equipment.
